In September a mediaeval atmosphere returns to the town of Pedroche, in the province of Córdoba. In this great gathering of horses, the riders with their corresponding mounts called "piostros" are adorned with typical blankets embroidered in black velvet.

The destination of the troop of "piostros" is the chapel of the Virgen de Piedrasantas.
