Mushroom Day in Serranía de Ronda

Every autumn we organise the "Mushroom Day in the Serranía de Ronda," in the Algaba Estate in Ronda.

This year it will take place on Saturday, 19 November.

Biologist Pablo P. Daniëls, expert mycologist with more than 25 years of experience, will be coming to talk to us during these sessions.

We'll start the day with breakfast at 9 in the morning and we'll welcome the participants.

After an introductory talk on how to forage for wild mushrooms, we'll go to a chestnut grove in the Genal Valley and go out into the country to forage and take pictures of the mushrooms.

At lunchtime we'll return to the farm to have a country lunch.

We'll organise the exhibition and identify the collected samples.

Then the mycologist will explain more about all these samples.

To finish off the event, there will be two talks in the auditorium on the Ecology of Fungi and Mycology and edible wild mushrooms.
