The Ronda Municipal Museum Mondragón Palace, also known as the Palace of the Marqués de Villasierra, is a truly magnificent architectural feature, undoubtedly the most significant civil monument in Ronda. Legend has it that was the residence of the great King Abbel Malik or Abomelic, son of the Sultan of Morocco, Abul Asan.

The Ronda Municipal Museum Mondragón Palace has great historical and archaeological character, and houses a permanent collection offering a historical journey through the region, supported by the different archaeological research undertaken to date in the territory.
