Sara Baras was born in the town of Cádiz in 1971 and studied in San Fernando, in her mothers school, Concha Baras, until being included in the group Los Niños de la Tertulia Flamenca. A little afterwards, in 1989, she began to work with the guitarist Manuel Morao from Jerez and won TVEs.- Spanish National Television- First Young Peoples Award.
In 1992 she joined Javier Barón and this same year danced in Expo 92 with Manuel Morao Montellano awarded her in 1993 with the Madroño Flamenco Award and one year later she went to Sevilla´s Biennial.
She has also worked with Merche Esmeralda and in Antonio Canales company until in 1997 she founded her own, with which she has carried out productions such as Juana la Loca o Mariana Pineda She is the female dancer with most international prestige of the moment.
