Biography

Sergio Gómez Delgado, Sergio “El Colorao” drank from the purest sources of flamenco in his youth. His father, Antonio Gómez “El Colorao”, instilled in him its art in addition to the basics of singing.

From that moment on, he began to sing alongisde his father at many flamenco clubs and festivals in Andalusia. At 10 years old he formed the group "Oyana", together with other future figures of flamenco. With this group Sergio began to create his own flamenco style that would later help him to revive some forgotten songs. In 2000, they participated in Madrid in the show "Trasnoches Flamencos", along with other artists including Rafael Amargo, the group Losada and Antonio “El Colorao”. After the group disbanded, Sergio decided to return to his roots but with new ideas.
