Excursión a Jerez y Cádiz desde Sevilla
Cadiz, as well as being one of the most beautiful provinces in Spain, offers a great diversity of landscapes. From its famous white sand beaches and crystal clear waters to its mountain peaks with fir forests that are usually found in other latitudes in Europe.
Our tour includes the two main cities and the wine culture of Jerez de la Frontera, which has undoubtedly contributed to the international fame of this destination. After leaving behind the farmland of the old marshes of the Guadalquivir River and the landscapes of Sierra de Grazalema mountains, home to the mythical white villages of Andalusia, we will arrive in Jerez de la Frontera and go on a short tour of the city centre and visit one of its Jerez wineries . Jerez, or sherry, is a designation of origin wine from this part of Spain, which has brought great prosperity to the city.
During the visit to the winery, we can also enjoy a small tasting of these wines, before heading towards our next destination of the day. In the city of Cadiz we will find a unique coastal city with an amazing history, art and delicious gastronomy, and friendly people.
We will visit beautiful spots such as Plaza de San Juan de Dios, Cadiz cathedral, the Viña neighbourhood and Caleta beach.
As we walk along its beautiful streets and squares, we will get to know in depth the history and culture of Cadiz, one of the oldest cities in Europe and birthplace of the Spanish Constitution of 1812.
We will enjoy a short break to have lunch in one of its typical bars or restaurants, where we can savour the rich gastronomy of Cadiz, with fresh fish and excellent wines.
There will be time for everything and also for shopping if you wish.
We will visit one of its beaches to breathe in the fresh air before going back to Seville.
