Seville by Kayak along the Guadalquivir River

With Naturanda you can enjoy one of Seville's most enjoyable experiences. We give you the opportunity of going in one of our double or single kayaks and enjoying beautiful views of Seville, accompanied by a specialist monitor who will be there at all times to help you with anything you need.

The tour starts at our office in the Calle Betis. You should be ready with suitable clothes and footwear, the clothes should be comfortable and cool and you should assume that you may well get wet. It is also a good idea to bring a towel and a change of clothing to change into at the end of the tour. You do not need to worry about your belongings because they will be kept safe with our staff while you enjoy the activity. Please do not forget to bring sunglasses, sunscreen and drinking water. A good cap is also recommended.

When you have finished getting ready, the monitor will show you some basic techniques for handling the kayak. You will be shown the best way to put the paddle into the water, how to stop, how to steer and of course how to go forwards and backwards. There is no need to worry if you have not been in a kayak before as these are special models for beginners, almost impossible to capsize and very easy to handle.

Once you are in the water, the monitor will guide you along the river so you can enjoy the views and learn about the different buildings and bridges that you will see during the tour. The tour starts in the Barrio de Triana neighbourhood and includes the EXPO 92 facilities, the Barrio de El Arenal neighbourhood and the María Luisa Park area. The tour ends after about two hours when you return to the starting point for the kayak tour of the Guadalquivir River, change your clothes and get your strength back.
