Sevilla de Ópera

Sevilla de Ópera is a music and cultural born of the desire by two lyrical music enthusiasts to bring opera to everyone, from experts to beginners. Also to give the city of Seville a setting in which to discover characters from Seville in opera, such as Carmen, Figaro and Don Juan.

Wishing to leave behind the mistaken concept that opera is exclusive, Sevilla de Ópera gives a chance to experience this art with shows of high artistic quality, live and natural, both for the singing and accompaniment, with no amplification, and a format which makes spectators take part in the performance.

It is located in one of Seville's historic buildings, the Lonja Arenal, not with the usual stalls in a theatre, but a theatre in the round, which allows continuous interaction with the public.
