The Restaurant El Abuelo, a magical and secluded hideaway in the heart of Sevilla, between the Alameda de Hércules and Torneo, behind the Guadalquivir River. More than half a century old, this unique restaurant has a classic and special atmosphere, filled with aromas and colours.

As its atmosphere hints, Restaurant El Abuelo serves home-made, lovingly prepared dishes, focusing on stews and soups. It also offers other dishes, such as the warm salad with elver and mushrooms, a delicious Burgos black pudding puff pastry and an Iberian sirloin with sweet garlic mayo. The recommendations include the Abuelo salad as a starter, and a delicious cod gratiné with roquefort sauce for main course. For dessert, a gorgeos junket with pine nuts and honey.

It has private rooms for celebrations or work meetings.

Tuesday to Saturday, from 1pm-11.30pm. Sunday, from 1pm-4pm.
