22nd Asparagus Festival, Sierra de Yeguas

Thousands of people come together to taste the local asparagus of this town in Malaga. It is a free tasting of up to 2,000 kilos of asparagus, cooked in omelettes, with scrambled egg or grilled and all visitors are welcome.

There are more than 30 stands offering visitors all kinds of home-made products. Visitors can buy products like fresh cheese and organic products, produced in Sierra de Yeguas and the neighbouring villages.

In addition to this attractive offer, and direct sale to the public, other types of leisure and cultural activities are held, such as a recipe competition with asparagus and live music acts that complete the event.

It has been declared a Festival of Provincial Tourist Interest.
