Torrenueva Costa
Torrenueva, located in the central part of the Costa Tropical, occupies the western part of Cape Sacratif.
As eminently tourist site, its beaches are populated by many bathers from very different backgrounds during the summer months.
History
Its name comes from a defensive watchtower of the eighteenth century, which is located on the south side of National Highway N-340 (Malaga-Almeria) which crosses the town.
