Triana, which can be found to the north of the municipality, is the village that lies furthest from the centre of Vélez-Málaga.

Triana is mainly an agricultural town, next to the C-335 country road (Arco road) which goes to the municipality of Benamargosa.

It looks like a real garden full of fruit trees and subtropical products, surrounded by dry hills, typical of the Axarquía.
