Kidnapping by the Bandoleros Tours, Luxury

"In Spain rules the King, and in the Sierra I", are the words of José María El Tempranillo that we use to present the Bandit kidnapping experience.

Bandolero Tours and the El Rosalejo Estate have formalised a collaboration agreement to use lands and facilities of the Ducal House and develop “the Bandolero Tours Kidnapping”. History, Myth and Legend come alive, again linking the protagonists of an intriguing historic event: the Duke of Ahumada (founder of the Civil Guard) and José María El Tempranillo agreed that the latter should undergo a metamorphosis, from bandit to captain of the Migueletes. Today, the descendants of both, Duque and Bandit, come together to relive this historic moment.

In the lands of Villamartín, where the plain ends and the first foothills of the Cadiz Mountains rise, stands the Ducal Palace (El Rosalejo Estate). Its cellar, silent witness of a fatal fire caused by Napoleon's troops, is where today the bandits meet again, sing and dance flamenco, savour delicacies and taste fino and manzanilla. Where is a more mountainous experience possible?

Pasoslargos, the romantic descendent of the mythical bandits and smugglers, with its group, again stalks and kidnaps travellers to make them live an exciting adventure they will never forget. In parallel, they enjoy dancing to the rhythms of some tonás, hear sounds of flamenco guitar and listen to festive flamenco songs. This makes the adventure of experiencing a kidnap to be a unique spectacle where the traveller is an active participant in a dream come true: protagonist of an interactive experience.

Timetables are standard, but can be adapted to each group, excursion, congress or convention. It runs between 11:30am, with the welcome to Rosalejo Estate, and 5pm, when the party ends and the return begins. In the meantime, different activities take place: rides in horse-drawn carriages, arrival of the bandits and kidnapping, lunch, live performances by the Bandoleros Tours Artistic Group, singing, drumming and dancing.
