The Valley of Los Pedroches is a region in the province of Córdoba where you will find the largest uninterrupted pastureland in Europe and it is home to one of the four protected designations of origin of Iberian ham. The pigs are raised out in the open surrounded by holm and cork oak trees, feeding on acorns and pasture in a natural environment that has one of the clearest skies on the planet.
We invite you to spend an authentic day in the country, walking through the pastures, participating in daily tasks on the farm and enjoying some relaxing table talk between friends after a well-deserved lunch of local produce.
You will also visit Villanueva de Córdoba, one of the most important towns in the Valley. There you will take a stroll amongst the iconic building, feel just like a local resident in the food market, discover the beautiful craftwork and visit an Iberian ham cellar. Our local hosts await you in the Valley of Los Pedroches to tell you past and present stories about one of the best parts of the province of Córdoba.
