Espacio José Hernández

The painter and engraver José Hernández, who is internationally renowned, established his second home in the municipality of Villanueva del Rosario, and it is here in the Casa de la Cultura where you will find the Espacio José Hernández, which is home to 20 engravings donated by the artist. This is in addition to the bibliography, letters and work tools of the artist, which were donated by the family to complete this space, such as the printing press he used in his workshop in Villanueva del Rosario.

The collection is located in a large, open-plan room of 60.95 square metres, and complemented by another room measuring 51.11 square metres that will host temporary exhibitions and will serve as a workshop where national courses on engraving will be held.
