We suggest you visit the Port of Aguadulce, the Posidonia Barrier Reef, the Fish Farm, the San Telmo Lighthouse and the coves of the Sierra de Gádor, in a one-hour excursion.

In summer the same excursion lasts an hour and a half, because we spend the last half hour swimming in one of the coves. We use an 8-metre semi-rigid boat (zodiac type) which has three advantages: It is open so there is less possibility of sea-sickness, it has a flat bottom so we can get nearer to the coast, and it is very stable so if everyone goes to one side of the boat it does not capsize. The excursion starts when we embark in the Aguadulce Marina.

From there we head towards the Playa de Aguadulce area where we will find the ancient Posidonia Reef. There are underwater visors so we can get a better look at this seagrass from the surface. Then we will sail a out to sea for a short time to enjoy a panoramic view of the entire Bay of Almería, and the Sierra de Gádor. Next we visit the Fish Farm where the guide will explain the fish-breeding process a little.

The tour continues towards the Peñón de San Telmo where you will find the Lighthouse and from where we can see the Port of Almería and the Alcazaba. On the return we pass near the cliffs where we can enjoy the scenery and the coves. In summer we stop at one of these coves for about 25 minutes so those who wish can cool off in the water.

We have masks, snorkels and floaters for you to use.

We occasionally see dolphins, but we never know when we are going to be lucky.
