Discover Scuba Diving

The introductory programme: “Discover Scuba Diving” is an unforgettable experience.

Not special physical condition is required. It is a safe and fun way to enjoy a natural environment with abundant sea life, fish swimming around you against a multi-colored seascape of algae and animals of incredible shapes and forms.

The first step takes place in school, where we teach you a set of basic principles for the diving. Then is confined waters class moment where you will learn learn some easy exercises and practice diving in no more than 1,5 metre depth.

Then you will be ready to scuba dive! A profesional diving instructor will be with you all the time. The dive will delay around 35 to 45 minutes (depending on the person). Some of them have lasted 55 minutes!

Underwater, you will be able to easily identify brown, green and red algae, phanerogamae (sea plants) , sea urchins, sponges, starfish, and a wide variety of fishes: such as seabreams, scorpion fish, goby, gapers, damsel fish, and mediterranean barracuda.

TheDSD can be the first step to take an inicial diving course. You can choose between Scuba Diver Course or Open Water course, and this first dive counts toward credit for eachs of the courses. Part of the price paid for the DSD will be discounted from the course fee.
