The convent is located at the end of the los Alamos avenue. It is built in the late Renaissance -almost Baroque- style, and dates from the end of the 17th century. After 1835 it was converted into a private residence and an olive oil factory.

Today the building is home to the municipal public library, and also has a multiple function room.
