Doña Jimena is a family business founded in 1961 in Alcaudete. What started as a family cake shop later underwent an expansion project aimed at selling sweet Christmas treats throughout Spain, soon becoming highly acclaimed by consumers.

Their typical Christmas products such as turron (similar to nougat), marzipan, marquesas (sponge cakes), puff pastries… and all the typical almond-based products have long been popular among hundreds of thousands of Spanish families.

In the 1990s, Doña Jimena decided to diversify by expanding the range of products to include chocolates, forsaking the seasonal nature of their products and venturing into a market that demands top quality products such as theirs.

Today Doña Jimena sells its products around the world, becoming an ambassador of the Spain brand and exporting Spanish Christmas treats and the finest chocolate to some 70 countries on 5 continents. It is one of Spain's largest and most experienced producers of fine chocolates and Christmas specialities.

Enjoy this free guided tour offered by Doña Jimena and learn how traditional sweets and chocolates are made; available October, November and December.
