The Festival is, once again, one of the most important in this genre on the Andalusian coast.

Jazz en la Costa is an extension of the one that takes place in Granada in November and has a privileged position in Andalusia. It is one of the most international and veteran jazz gatherings in Spain.

Situated in the most southern part of the European continent, facing Africa, surrounded by impressive vegetation and an environment with rich historic heritage, under a Moorish fortress and next to Phoenician ruins, Jazz en la Costa is an attractive show because it is next to the sea and boasts the exuberant vegetation of the Costa Tropical. Climate and landscape favour the fusion of this music with other genres that are equally brilliant combinations.

Jazz en la Costa has been taking place for 30 years and is the most important event in this genre on the Andalusian coast, and one of the most international veteran jazz gatherings in Spain. The musicians have left a lasting imprint in the area.
