Centro Temático del Río Genil

In Badolatosa, the Genil River Theme Centre enables travellers to discover the lesser-known entrails of the Genil River and what its water represents for the villages that are bathed by it. Moreover, it presents its significance during the time of romantic banditry in the 19th century, for being considered the border between the provinces of Seville and Cordoba.

Five thematic rooms combine soft lighting, poetic phrases inspired by the River, the sound of water…, an ideal atmosphere to take a stroll full of sensations and discover routes along the course of the river. To this end, audiovisuals, an extensive collection of minerals and fossils from the area, and an exhibition of taxidermy with autochthonous animals along this river are displayed.
