Equidistant between Málaga and Gibraltar Los Arqueros Golf & Country Club prides itself on being the Costa del Sol's first Severiano Ballesteros design. Set in the mountains on the road to Ronda the layout is breathtaking in more than one way.

In its construction over one million cubic metres of earth were moved, even so it is still quite up and down. At 6,048 metres off the back tees the course is not overly long but strategically located tees add interest and offer a stiff test for professionals whilst at the same time the course is an acceptable challenge for club golfers.

The opening of Los Arqueros Golf & Country Club was eagerly awaited and has not been a disappointment. Now with new owners in charge the club is benefiting from a programme of improvements and rejuvenation. Located five kilometres from San Pedro de Alcántara it is well worth a drive into the mountains.
