Axarquía MGusta, La Consentida Selección, the Axarquía Gastronomic Avocado Brotherhood and La Leonera Comunicación are organising the third edition of MANGOLF, an event that combines agriculture, gastronomy, tourism and sports, with activities that will take place in the capital of Malaga and the Axarquía region, in October and November.

It is a campaign to promote the Axarquía mango and will include the Mango Gastronomic Conference at various restaurants in the city of Malaga and the Axarquía region, on 22-31 October. Participating restaurants will present their dishes at a showcooking event on Monday, 25 October at the facilities of Baviera Golf, Doña Francisquita Catering. The Conference will be held in collaboration with the Association of Chefs ARTCUA (Andalusian Culinary Art) 

This year there is a new event: a series of agro-tourism trips to mango-growing areas throughout the month of October and until 10 November, offered by the companies Oletrips and Rutaxar, travel agencies specialising in the Axarquía region.

And to round off this campaign to promote the Axarquía mango and highlight its health properties and consumption benefits for athletes, on Saturday 30 October, golf enthusiasts will be able to take part in the 2nd MANGOLF Tournament at Baviera Golf in La Caleta de Vélez (Vélez-Málaga).

The tournament will follow the Stableford format, in two categories and a Junior category. Participants in the tournament will be able to taste mangoes at the refreshment stands, take part in raffles and enjoy special gifts.
