San Antonio Abad

San Antonio Abad is located in the province of Jaén, in the town of Cárchel, where oil is obtained from the olives using only physical mechanical processes, under the appropriate thermal conditions that do not adversely affect the oil. The olives are only subjected to the processes of washing, decanting, centrifuge and filtering.

In San Antonio Abad any oils obtained using solvents, re-esterification procedures or blending with other types of oil are excluded from this designation.
