Bodega la Margarita is on land belonging to the Seville town of Constantina. It is in El Pago El Zancúo, a winery from 1900 that was remodelled in 1998, when the new owners —a family business— came to this estate (1995).

When Bodega La Margarita began to plan its first vines, there were about 700. Today, there are 13500. During the latest plantation, 5000 vines were Petit Verdot, which is now one of its strongest varieties.
