Córdoba Romana: visita guiada, baños romanos en spa y almuerzo romano
This immersion in Roman culture and the remains left behind by History, is a combined visit to three monuments: The Roman Theatre in the Archaeological Museum, the Roman Temple in Calle Claudio Marcelo Roman and a Roman "domus" in the basement of a hotel in Córdoba.
We will then enjoy a session in a Roman bath (you need to bring a change of clothes and a swimsuit, the hotel will provide a bathrobe and slippers), and we finish with a magnificent, typical menu from Roman times, including exquisite delicacies and aromas enjoyed in the first centuries A.D. in our city.
Córdoba was declared a "Colonia Patricia" in the 2nd century and for many years was the capital of Roman Baetica, and so had a huge circus. What we can see from this is the temple which presided over it, a great theatre and an amphitheatre, the remains of which are unfortunately to be found in the basements and in the ground under private and public buildings, as has happened with the most of remaining parts of the city walls.
On our way to the thermal springs we will visit three of these important archaeological sites.
