Among olive and orange trees, a journey to the roots

A journey to the roots through the scent of the oranges of the valley, and an experience with centuries-old olive trees, in Sierra Nevada Nature Reserve. 

A 15th century mill complex, which has a hydraulic mill with Nasrid influence. You will visit the olive grove and oil mill, and attend an oil tasting session. 

Experience: 

Enter the picturesque valley of Lecrín, one of the white villages of Granada, in Sierra Nevada Nature Reserve,  where you'll find a sea of centuries-old olive trees and visit one of the oldest mills in Southern Europe.  

Day 1: Visit the Albaicín and dinner in a "carmen" house.

Day 2: Visit the oil mill, olive grove, oil tasting.

Day 1

Arrival in Granada. 

Welcome by a representative of Sonríe Travel 

Afternoon - Guided tour of the old Arab quarter, the Albaicín, with its spectacular viewpoints offering stunning views of Granada and the Alhambra. Mirador de San Nicolas,  Mirador de San Cristobal,  and Mirador de  La Mezquita Mayor de Granada, the first mosque built in the city since 1492, after 500 years.

Nasrid gastronomy dinner around the Alhambra

Day 2

Breakfast at the hotel.

In the morning, departure to Nigüelas (15-20 minutes from Granada) to embark on a journey to the roots with an experience at a centuries-old olive grove  and  mill,  one of the oldest mills in Southern Europe.  A visit steeped in history and an exclusive visit to a beautiful white town. 

We will carry out, together with the oenologist,  oil tasting and wine tasting sessions with tapas. 

Return and free afternoon.
