As its name implies, the University of Granada's Centre for Modern Languages is located in Granada. The department dedicated to Spanish as a Foreign Language at the Centre for Modern Languages seeks to promote Spanish language and culture as well as integrate into the city the multicultural community that is attracted to Granada thanks to the trust that they place in its institution. That is why they strive day to day to improve the quality of the teaching and the services they provide.

Through the foreign languages department, the main objective of the University of Granada's Centre for Modern Languages is to provide quality education based on a communicative approach as well as the most suitable mechanisms to enable their students to communicate in a second language - a highly valued skill in today's society - in as short a time as possible.
