Right in the centre of Granada's capital city, the avant-garde design of this centre blends in perfectly with the city landscape. The building was opened in 1992. Since then it has become one of the main conference and exhibition centres in Spain, not only due to its size (more than 45,000 m2 on seven storeys) but also due to its top-of-the-range equipment.

The García Lorca Auditorium is the centre's emblematic room. The equipment is an example of the building's advanced technology, with simultaneous interpreting booths, cinema projectors and an electronic voting system.

García Lorca is a functional, multi-purpose room. It is ideal for any type of event. In fact, each seat can be turned into a small desk with Internet connection, fax, computer and an audio and data system, which reduces its capacity for 2,000 people down to 1,000. The Carlos V amphitheatre is another room in the complex.

The complex features other rooms and areas to host events such as scientific conferences, trade shows and video and teleconferences. As well as these rooms, the 1,500m2, naturally lit lobby is used as an exhibition hall.

There are a wide range of services also on offer: secretary's office, hostesses, catering, restaurant (approx. 2,000 people), medical centre, cloakroom, reprography centre and courier service.

The open-air areas, such as the veranda, are ideal to hold dinners, cocktail parties or even concerts.
