The Visitor Centre of the Region of Guadix is a unique and unusual exhibition space designed to show the real image of a modern city that reveals its history and that of those who inhabited it for over 2000 years, centuries and centuries of culture, civilisation and monuments worthy of both pride and admiration, adapted to be displayed as the efficient argument in favour of a sustainable future of today's Guadix. Remains of buildings of the Roman colony from its foundation in 45 BC, the Julia Gemella Acci, and the later Wadi As of the Nasrid Kingdom of Granada, are displayed today as a modern space created for the pleasure of its visitors. Iberian ceramics, fragments of Roman public buildings, Moorish ceramics, manuscripts, and images offer a journey through the city's history. This building, furthermore, houses the Tourist Office of the region of Guadix.

Therefore, the Visitor Centre of the Region of Guadix is a place of reference and the starting point for everyone who comes to visit us.

Monday to Friday from 9 am to 2 pm and 4 pm to 6 pm.
