The walls date from the 4th - 2nd centuries BC, and they are a priceless archaeological asset. They used to be a square enclosure that surrounded the whole town and the castle.

Now only one of the corners remains standing, in the north of the urban area, offering a spectacular view of the construction, with its large mortar stones, and enormous ashlars, which are almost four metres long and more than one and a half metre thick, and perfectly assembled.

Free admission. Free tour with the programme “Hidden Treasures of la Loma”: Monday to Friday, 10 am to 2 pm. (by prior appointment). Saturday and Sunday, please check.

Free entrance.
