The Museum of Honey and Bees seeks to showcase beekeeping throughout the ages, along with the fascinating world of bees.

Honey is one of nature's most complete foods, so at Rancho Cortesano in Jerez de la Frontera, not only do they make honey, they also run the Museum of Honey and Bees, where you can learn all about the history of beekeeping, as well as the culinary tradition and medicinal uses of honey. Visitors can have lunch at their magnificent "Del Huerto Ecológico" (Organic Kitchen Garden) restaurant.

You will also have a guide to tell you all about the themed content in the language of the group, adapting to suit your needs. You will discover the entire process behind the creation of bee-related products, their various therapeutic uses and health benefits, as well as the perfect and harmonious organisation of bees. There is also a shop offering bee-related products and tastings (honey, "meloja" (a type of honey jam typical to this area), royal jelly, pollen, propolis, wax, soaps and natural cosmetics).

In addition to its main activity, every weekend the Museum of Honey and Bees runs various interesting and fun activities related to Nature.
