Declared a "Festival of National Tourist Interest in Andalusia" in 2005, Easter Week in La Línea de la Concepción is one of the most vibrant religious celebrations in the town. Its origins date back to 1893.
The local penitential Brotherhoods boast religious statues worthy of study, with sculptures made by important sculptors such as Ortega Brú, Dudé de Luque, Castillo Lastrucci, Moreira López, Juan Ventura, Pineda Calderón, Hernández León, Berlanga, Eslava Rubio and Ramos Corona, among others.
