Olivarera Santa Rita

Olivarera Santa Rita is in the area belonging to the Cordoba town of Luque, it was founded in the year 1970 and had an initial number of 40 shareholders, which has become approximately 430 shareholders today.

Olivarera Santa Rita only grinds olives brought by its shareholders and its oil is all local. It produces oil made from many varieties of olives, with the main ones being picual, picudo or carrasqueña, hojiblanca or lucentina, endera and others.

Its oil comes under the Baena Designation of Origin and its Extra Virgin has won numerous awards in the mature fruity category.

The Extra Virgin Oil produced by Olivarera Santa Rita is extraordinarily easy and sweet with many notes of ripe fruits, leaving a pleasant and persistent end flavour of almonds.
