Biography
Manuel Franco Barón was born in Seville in 1960 He started to play in the Matilde Coral academy and stood out very soon While he was still a child he accompanied Antonio Mairena, Naranjito de Triana, Calixto Sánchez and Manuel Mairena
In 1979 he won the Radio Sevilla National Guitar Award, which helped him to start playing on stage But his best moment was in 1984, when a jury formed by Paco de Lucía, Manolo Sanlúcar, Serranito and Juan Habichuela decided to award him the 1st Giraldillo for Guitar Playing
Since then he has accompanied all the great singers and even got to sit to the left of Naranjito in his farewell concert in Seville He has also released important solo albums such as "Aljibe"
