Casa La Leñera Tourist House, located in the outskirts ofMonachil, a small, picturesque village, 7 km from Granada, 600 metres from the village, in a sunny and quiet area, insideSierra Nevada Nature Reserve. There are outstanding views from the Cortijo over the Sierra Nevada mountains as well as a full panoramic view of Granada and its plain.
La Leñera Country House, traditionally known as the Cortijo de los Rabelos due to the surname of the owners for three generations, the Cortijo Los Llanos was one of many used as a farmhouse since being built in 1890.
Originally comprising a single house that is today the Casa El Granero Tourist House, it has subsequently been extended to two more houses, Casa El Pozo and Casa La Leñera, all have been refurbished by conserving the morphology and copying the original appearance wherever possible, with special attention paid to comfort that is definitely worth a good rest.
