“Cerro de la Virgen” Archaeological Visitor Centre
This Visitor Centre is actually the Cortijo-Cave where the director of operations at the archaeological lived at the end of the 1960s.
It was refurbished to create a visitor centre and is thematically separated into two main parts: one part is dedicated to the figure of Wilhem Schülle and the social context of Orce in the 1960s, and the other is dedicated to the excavations and their results over the years.
1 September to 31 July: Saturdays from 12 noon to 2pm and 4pm to 6pm. Sundays from 12 noon to 2pm. August: Open everyday from 12 noon to 2pm and 5pm to 7pm.
