Itinerario geológico, botánico y astronómico por el Cerro del Hierro en el equinocio de primavera
The activity consists of a guided and interpreted hiking route through the Karst of Cerro del Hierro and the Mediterranean forest of La Bejera formed of all species of trees of the genus Quercus: cork, holm, gall, kermes, and honey oak trees.
The route will end with an observation of the sunset, coinciding with the Spring Equinox, at a natural viewpoint at the top of the Cerro del Hierro. It will be completed by an astronomical observation to identify the stars and constellations visible in the sky with the help of laser pointer.
The activity will take place only on March 20 and 21, Saturday and Sunday, coinciding with the Spring Equinox.
The activity includes the service of a guide providing the interpretation of the landscape, vegetation, rocks, minerals and the night sky. It also includes transfer by van from Seville to Cerro del Hierro, alongside Accident and Civil Responsibility Insurance.
