The Río Borosa visitor centre is in one of the most emblematic areas of the Sierras de Cazorla, Segura y Las Villas nature reserve, beside the river of the same name, which is the first major tributary of the Guadalquivir.

Beside it is a fish farm and the Río Borosa hiking trail, which follows this interesting watercourse and makes an ideal way to visit the surrounding area.
