Excursión a los Pueblos Blancos y Ronda desde Sevilla

A perfect tour for those who want to discover the Andalusian roots, folklore, nature and beautiful places with all their history and tradition. The journey to the White Villages runs along the old border between the medieval kingdoms of Castile and Granada. That is why on the way we will be able to see old watchtowers and fortresses such as the Castle of las Aguzaderas in the municipality of El Coronil, in Seville, a strategic place in the history of Andalusia. From there we will go to the picturesque white village of Zahara de la Sierra, in the province of Cadiz, inside the Sierra de Grazalema Nature Reserve, a protected area with great ecological value.

We will explore its narrow streets, enjoy beautiful views and visit an oil mill that extracts and produces olive oil. We will be able to taste this delicacy and buy some of its products. The trip continues towards the mountains of Sierra de Grazalema, a beautiful place of great geological and botanical interest. A natural setting where firs and Spanish firs stand out, and it can also boast of being the place where it rains the most in Spain.

Then we will arrive at one of the most important white villages in Andalusia, Grazalema, from where the mountain range gets its name. Visitors will be able to enjoy this beautiful town and its impressive views of the mountains.

In Grazalema we will take a break to enjoy the gastronomy at one of the typical bars of the area. Finally, we will travel to the mythical and romantic city of Ronda, on a journey where we can enjoy the breathtaking views of the Ronda mountains and we may even spot vultures flying around.

The Alameda, Puente Nuevo, Paseo de los Toreros and the Tajo are some of the most important spots in this town. Our guide will explain the most important historical and cultural details of Ronda and will also offer you some guidelines and tips so that you can explore the city independently for about an hour.

Once we finish our visit to Ronda we will head back to Seville, after enjoying a beautiful day discovering the nature, history and culture of the White Villages of Andalusia.
