Located in Seville, Santa Clara Space occupies the facilities of the magnificent Santa Clara Monastery. This Almohad Palace, later owned by Don Fadrique, eventually became convent of the Company of the Order of Saint Clare until 1998. Once refurbished, it is now an important cultural-artistic centre open to the public, housing a rich history filled with tradition and culture, art and religious devotion.

The Santa Clara Space is also a venue for cultural manifestations conforming to the preservation and custody of its heritage, as well as the interpretation and broadcasting of the same: music, literature, painting, photography…Santa Clara has become identified over time as a centre for the study and exhibition of the cultural identity of Seville, becoming a benchmark for cultural venues at a national and international level, combining study, research, preservation and broadcasting.

It has the honour of hosting, among others, the Flamenco Biennial and the FEMÁS (Festival de Música Antigua), with which it opens its doors to such a universal art form as Flamenco, UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage, and to ancient music, the authentic musical tradition of the city, two cultural events that define for themselves the concept of a broad, modern and innovative culture.
