Located to the north of La Carihuela, in a magnificent setting with sea views, the Parque de la Batería is one of the lungs of Torremolinos. An ideal place to relax, leave the asphalt behind and enjoy nature without leaving the city.

Its name comes from an old coastal battery, in fact there are still some artillery cannons and two underground bunkers. The Parque de la Batería has more than 74,000 square metres for leisure, sports activities and family fun. With more than a thousand of trees, from 25 different species, it is the Central Park of Torremolinos.

There is also an artificial lake with over 9,000 square metres, where you can hire a boat, and a magnificent, classical, Venetian style merry-go-round with almost 50 figures of giraffes, ponies, floats and little houses for the delight of children. There is also a 15m high lookout tower, a network of pathways, a physical exercise area, a bike lane, a jogging trail and a large children's play area.
