Hospital de Santiago is located in the commercial, entertainment and cultural centre of Úbeda. This is considered one of the best examples of Renaissance building in Spain work, and was designed by the distinguished architect Andrés de Vandelvira. Construction began in 1562 and ended in 1575, and it continued to be used as a hospital until 1975. Highlights of this impressive building are the central courtyard with its harmonious proportions, the chapel in the shape of a letter H and the imposing Mannerist staircase, covered with an octagonal vault decorated with mural paintings.

The centre has a reception area for the presentation of documentation, and a café and restaurant service. The side and central courtyards are suitable for the installation of a stand service, while the central corridor can be used as the venue for the event's closing dinner.
