The clock tower located in Plaza de Andalucía, in the town of Úbeda, World Heritage Site since 2003, in the province of Jaén.

Built on the old Moorish wall, the tower was used to defend Puerta de Toledo gate, which no longer stands.

Some of its elements are extremely symbolic, such as the image of Our Lady of Remedies, before which Emperor Charles V, and later his son King Philip II, swore to keep the town's privileges.

Inside are the town's oldest bells.
