It is the only remnant of the original "Convento de Nuestra Señora de la Concepción", founded by D. Juan Amaya in 1552 for burying himself and his wife.

In the church we must highlight its main doorway in Renaissance style, the spherical dome erected on the Chapel, and the vaulted crypt of the founders.

At its side it is the most emblematic streets of the city, the "Arco de las Monjas", turning to the Jewish Quarter.
