The "Casa de los Arcos" in Villanueva del Arzobispo was built in 1928 by Manuel Ramírez López. The Renaissance-style façade is decorated with Baroque filigree on the grilles and Andalusian tiles which remind us of the regionalist style of the Plaza de España in Seville.

The upper floor features five arches crowned with ceramic jars. The inner courtyard imitates the decoration of the Nasrid palaces of the Alhambra in Granada. The building was awarded the provincial prize for embellishment.
