The village of El Rocío

This town is located in the south of the province of Huelva, 45 Km. from the provincial capital and 64 Km. from Seville.

The municipal district comprises three distinct urban centres: Almonte, El Rocío and Matalascañas. It is primarily a farming area, gradually giving way to dense scrubland and, finally, Doñana, with its marshes and dunes.

How to get there?

By car: From Huelva, take the A-49 motorway and at exit 50 follow the A-483 secondary road leading to Almonte (11 Km.), as well as El Rocío and Matalascañas. From Seville, take the A-49 motorway and at exit 48 follow the A-483 secondary road, as for the directions from Huelva.
