The Barman Association of Western Andalusia prepares three drinks that represent 'Marshland', 'A Game of Thrones' and '8 Basque Surnames'
The drinks also help to promote the province of Seville as a fim set. The Barman Association of Western Andalusia, in collaboration with the Seville Wine Association, brought three coctails to Fitur 2015, which represent the three films that were shot in the province in recent years, and which have had undeniable success.
The first is called 'La Isla Minima after Marshmen, the film directed by Alberto Rodriguez in the Guadalquivir Marshes. In this case, to represent rice and blood, two elements that are closely related to the synopsis of the film, grenadine, gin 1927 and Invito red vermouth are used, decorated with Seville bitter orange peel and rice cake.
The series 'A Game of Thrones' is behind the second cocktail. It's served in a champagne glass and is made from mead, licorice liqueur, triple sec, banana liqueur and champagne, decorated with Seville bitter orange peel.
The '8 apellidos vascos', or 8 Basque surnames cocktail in served in a snifter with a mix of gin, tonic, pacharan caviar and basil. The decoration is based on the ikurriña, the official flag of the Basque Country, with Seville bitter orange peel, dried lime, dried strawberry and apple.
