Playa Nuevo Portil

This viewpoint in Cartaya over the Atlantic has recently been developed. It has calm waters and the beach Nuevo Portil runs for 1,500 metres beneath the cliffs, from where there are stunning sunsets to be seen. At the same time, the river links it with Nueva Umbría Beach, in the Piedras River Marshes and Flecha de El Rompido Nature Area. Its pine woods, set atop the cliffs, are now home to modern hotels and a golf course which is perfectly integrated into the natural surroundings.
