You will learn all about the exquisite local gastronomy and its establishments, through an autochthonous product, the Almadraba Red Tuna, together with a sustainable fishing technique that is closely linked with the history of Conil de la FronteraThe Almadraba Red Tuna Gastronomic Route Conil.

Our red tuna is currently an international product, a flagship for the promotion of gastronomic tourism in the town as an exclusive and high-quality product, which together with the hospitality sector make Conileña gastronomy an extraordinary tourist attraction.

On Thursday 27 April, a professional competition will be held between the bars and restaurants participating in the Hotel and Catering School and will be divided into two modalities, traditional and innovative. The gastronomic sample will be on Friday 5 May, next to La Chanca, the same location as for the last edition because it is an idyllic setting and has a strong relationship to the red tuna.

The event will begin with the Ronqueo del Atún Rojo (the traditional way of catching the Red Tuna), and later all those attending will be able to enjoy gastronomic samples of the dishes included in the exclusive menus presented by the 28 participating restaurants and bars all along the route and that in this edition will include more than 250 dishes.
